Intel is set to launch a new line of powerful yet low-power Atom processors. These processors follows the naming convention of the4th-generation Haswell chips (although Atom generally has a different upgrade path).
There are a total of 5 variants — 1 with single-core processor, and 4 with dual-core processors.
Here’s the list with corresponding configurations and power usage.
Intel Atom E3810 – 1.46 GHz single-core, 400MHz HD Graphics, 5W TDP
Intel Atom E3821 – 1.33 GHz dual-core, 533MHz HD Graphics, 6W TDP
Intel Atom E3822 – 1.46 GHz dual-core, 667MHz HD Graphics, 7W TDP
Intel Atom E3823 – 1.75 GHz dual-core, 792MHz HD Graphics, 8W TDP
Intel Atom E3840 – 1.91 GHz quad-core, 792MHz HD Graphics, 10W TDP
These new Atom processors will more likely be targeted for use with netbooks and probably tablets as well.
