Cooler Master just announced their new G-Series power supplies. These G-Series power supplies will come in 3 variants, a 500 w, 600 w, and a 700 w variant. All of these are 80 Plus Bronze certified and are compatible with Haswell procies.
All variants have a single, high-power 12 V rail design, supporting up to 55 A over the 12 V rail. The PSUs are cooled by a 120 mm fan, which will run a silent profile up to a load of 70 percent. These units have safe features including OVP, OCP, SCP and OTP. They all have standard 24-Pin ATX and EPS connectors, as well as 6 SATA connectors, (9 for the G-700 variant), and three molex connectors. The G700 also has support for multiple graphics cards.
Cooler Master’s G-Series will hit stores around the start of August and are expected to be priced at €59.95, €69.95, and €79.95 for the G500, G600, and G700, respectively. I would be expecting that prices locally will be higher.
